ABOUT US
STEERING COMMITTEE
We are a group of volunteers in Saskatchewan who want to see medical professionals legally protected from coercion or intimidation to participate in medical assistance in dying (euthanasia). We are a Saskatchewan-specific organization that would like to see the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly pass conscience protection legislation for medical professionals similar to the legislation passed in Manitoba in 2017.
Goals: Our primary goal is to have the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly pass conscience protection legislation for medical professionals. Our secondary goal is to support the election of politicians who will support our primary goal.
What We Do: Encourage Saskatchewan residents who support our primary goal to sign our petition. Meet with Saskatchewan MLAs to discuss the importance of conscience rights legislation for medical professionals and present them with petitions. Send supporters emails from time to time updating them when petitions are collected, presented to MLA, and when the petitions are presented in the Legislative Assembly.
